Datascience is a technology in which companies are extracting useful information &insights from the data on which they create models that take decisions and that decision should be automated.Mr. Prem Kumar bharti the DS speaker has used anaconda &jupyter tools to create projects and models, these tools enhanced the features of programing languages, Anaconda is a distribution of the Python and R programming languages for scientific computing, that aims to simplify package management and deployment. The distribution includes data-science packages suitable for Windows, Linux, and macOS .Jupyter is an open-source web application that allows you to create and share documents that contain live code, equations, visualizations and narrative text. Uses include: data cleaning and transformation, numerical simulation, statistical modeling, data visualization, machine learning, and much more.

For networking projects and concepts, he has used a simulator called Packet Tracer which is a cross-platform visual simulation tool designed by Cisco Systems that allows users to create network topologies and imitate modern computer networks. The software allows users to simulate the configuration of Cisco routers and switches using a simulated command line interface

Students had learned about the basics of python-like what is it why do we use it and the future of python along with it students also had exposure to hands-on python, Pandas, NumPy matplotlib, and seaborne and got to know about how we can manipulate and process data along with it they had also exposure to statistics and got knowledge of how to extract useful data and insights from the raw and dirty data. Machine Learning algorithm and created a Project (Car Price prediction) in which their model has to predict the old car’s price for the customer.

What is Network &Networking, IP address V4 & V6,subletting, and basics of networking, Devices introduction, Router configuration, Router passwords, DHCP, Routing introduction & routing protocols, Introduction to L2 devices, switch configuration, switching concepts, VLAN configuration, InterVlan configuration, VTP, STP, RSTP etc.
This workshop provided a platform to gain useful information, and to have an insight into the Data science & Networking The sessions motivated the students to explore the avenues of using the tools and explained various usage of the simulators and enable them to apply the same to a variety of complex industry scenarios. The interactive Q&A session helped in clearing the doubts of the participants. The students were able to acquire knowledge of the software, its uses, working and application to the real world problems.
It was successfully organized by Dr. Kapil Joshi, Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering with great zeal.
