Diploma of Pharmacy

A person who has completed D.Pharm can be employed as a registered pharmacist in a community pharmacy (wholesale or retail-medical store/chemists & druggists) or hospital pharmacy. It is the minimum qualification to practice pharmacy profession, therefore, it is mandatory that all dispensing of prescription medicines has to be done under the supervision of a pharmacist only. There are several avenues also available in pharmaceutical industry. Candidates with D. Pharm. qualification are eligible to take admission in B. Pharm. 2nd year.

Eligibility for this course.

Eligibility for D.Pharm. - 2 Years 10+2 / equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics or Biology.

Admission Procedure for D.Pharm.

Admission is based on merit computed on the basis of marks secured in UUEE (Uttaranchal University Entrance Examination) as well as marks secured in the qualifying examination (10+2).
