A person who has completed D.Pharm can be employed as a registered pharmacist in a community pharmacy (wholesale or retail-medical store/chemists & druggists) or hospital pharmacy. It is the minimum qualification to practice the pharmacy profession, therefore, it is mandatory that all dispensing of prescription medicines has to be done under the supervision of a pharmacist only. There are several avenues also available in the pharmaceutical industry. Candidates with Diploma in Pharmacy. qualification are eligible to take admission in B. Pharm. 2nd year.
- 10+2 / equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics or Biology from any recognized board.
- Minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST category).
- Admission is based on merit computed on the basis of marks secured in UUEE (Uttaranchal University Entrance Examination) as well as marks secured in the qualifying examination (10+2).
