On the occasion of “Hindi Press Day” the Media Club, under the aegis of Department of Communication, School of Liberal Arts, organized a Debate Competition on the topic ‘Media is suffering from Content Crisis’ on 29th May, 2021. The competition was held online through Microsoft Teams. The students of BA-JMC enthusiastically took part in the event and showed keen interest in the topic. The debate focused on how much content is actually available and how much of good content is presented in media. 

The event was judged by the Head of Department Dr. Jitendra Sinha and Ms. Smriti Uniyal. Ms. Smriti Uniyal also shared her views on the topic and explained how critical analysis of a topic helps in deeper understandings.

The event was concluded by Ms. Smriti Uniyal. Avi Naman, student from 3rd Year was awarded the 1st Prize, while Adhinayak Kaparwan from 1st Year was awarded the 2nd Prize. Tushar, from 2nd Year bagged the 3rd Prize in the event.
