E-Cell (SALS), under the aegis of ‘Uttaranchal University Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship’, successfully organized “Fete ‘n’ Fiesta” on 28th February, 2019. Under this the students put up Food and Games Stalls. The menu was based on innovative, healthy & nutritious food while creativity was the theme for fun games. Students of various constituent colleges of Uttaranchal University participated in the event. The students got the opportunity to represent their college and showcase their talent and innovative ideas while getting exposed to the phenomena of marketing.
The Chief Guests for the occasion were Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Joshi and Director-Student Affair and IT Services Dr. Abhishek Joshi. They appreciated the event and motivated the students to bring out such innovative ideas frequently as it could lead to setting up of their own startup.
Dr. Vandana Joshi (Joint Registrar, Uttaranchal University), Dr. Ajay Singh (Principal-SALS), Dr. Shuchi Upadhyay (Head-Department of Food Technology) and Dr. Bharti Ramola comprised of the jury of the event.
This event was organized by Dr. Bindu Naik (Coordinator-E-Cell, SALS). Around 70 students from different colleges participated in the event.
The winners were appreciated and were given Trophies and Certificates of Appreciation.
