Students of B.Sc. (Hons) Food Technology demonstrated the technique of  preparing different  fruit jams , marmalade , squash and  vegetable  pickles without using chemical preservatives.  Students prepared delicious assortment of jam, marmalade   and squash from pine apple, apples, mixed fruit, mangos, grapes , Chico, etc.  They also displayed their skills at preparing mixed vegetable, bitter gourd, tomato and cauliflower pickles, tomato sauce, tomato puree etc. in Food-tech lab with the help of naturally available food materials. They also presented preservation and packaging process of these food items.

Students invited the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Dean and their faculty for sensory evaluation of the quality of these foods. The Chancellor appreciated the presentation.
