Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University accorded a grand felicitation to alumni Bhawna Pandey who cleared Uttarakhand Judicial Services Examination. Bhawna Pandey had graduated from the college with first division.
In the packed Seminar Hall, Hon’ble Chancellor of the University, Sh. Jitendra Joshi, honoured Ms. Bhawna Pandey by presenting a momento. On the occasion, Sh. Joshi stated that Bhawna Pandey is the 17th person who has become judge within this short span of this college. Earlier, eleven students and five faculties have already qualified the judicial services of different states and are currently serving as judges in respective district courts. He maintained that it is an honour for this institution to felicitate brilliant alumni like Bhawna Pandey. He thanked the faculties of the college for maintaining the higher standards and quality of education.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna, Principal of the College stated that Bhawna Pandey was a Hindi medium student studied in typical hill station of the State. She not only obtained Degree of Law from this College but also completed her final year with English medium.
In her address, Bhawna Pandey offered tips to the students for judicial services preparations. Answering to the question whether coaching is necessary for success in judicial services examinations, she replied that coaching is useful to create an atmosphere of competition. She said more you have your competitors more you study hard which result in the success. She further advised the students to solve the old questions papers and maintain time management. She gave credit of her success to the faculty members of Law College Dehradun. She also stated that previously qualified judges from this College have always been a sources of inspiration for her. When asked by the students one line Gurumantra for success, she said hard with patience.
