Law College Dehradun, faculty of Uttaranchal University organized a grand programme to pay homage to the ‘great patriots’ Shaheed-E-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Raj Guru on the occasion of ‘Martyr’s Day’ on 23rd March, 2018. Students, faculty members and staff of the college assembled at the venue adjoining the National Flag to commemorate the auspicious day. The Chief Guest of the occasion, Director – Student Affairs and IT Services Dr. Abhishek Joshi offered flowers on the portraits of the ‘great martyrs’. This followed offering of flowers by the faculty members, students and non-teaching staff members. The entire campus echoed with the slogans of “Bhagat Singh Amar Rahe and Bharat Mata Ki Jai” Every one present at the venue reflected the feeling of patriotism and gratitude.

On this occasion, Principal of the college Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna maintained that remembering the martyrs of freedom struggle and emulating their conduct as well as sacrificial sentiments are our primary national duty.

The programme was organized under the auspices of Law College Dehradun Legal Aid Centre (LCDLAC) of Law College Dehradun.

Dr. Poonam Rawat, Mr. Kumar Ashutosh, Mr. Vaibhav Uniyal, Dr. Prabha Lama, Mr. Sukhwinder Singh, Dr. Anil Dixit, Dr. Sushim Shukla, Dr. Vijay Srivastava, Mr. Lalit Singh, Mr. Naresh Semwal, Mr. Mukul Rawat, Mr. Alok Kumar Pandey, Mr. Kuljit Singh along with a large number of students were present on the occasion.
