Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University, accorded a grand felicitation to alumni Mr. Devansh Rathore who cleared Uttarakhand Judicial Services Examination. Hon’ble Chancellor of the University Shri. Jitender Joshi welcomed Mr. Devansh with a bouquet of flowers and a memento. Mr. Devansh Rathore, hailing from Vikas Nagar completed his LL.B.(Hons.) from Law College Dehradun securing 75% marks. His father Shri. Kamal Rathore is Revenue Sub-Inspector in the Revenue Department of Uttarakhand while his mother is Office Superintendent in Uttarakhand Jal Vidhyut Nigam.
Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean – Law College Dehradun, in his speech, expressed his appreciation for Devansh and revealed that he used to spend his maximum time in the library after finishing his classes. He also proudly averred that there are few more alumni of our college serving in Indian Navy as Advocate-Judge.
Mr. Devansh, in his speech informed that he opted for Law College Dehradun for pursuing Judicial Services Examinations after completing B.Tech. He observed that Judges from the college appointed in various states of North India offered valuable experiences regarding Judicial Services. He attributed his success to parents and teachers at Law College Dehradun and also thanked the Competition Cell of the college on this occasion.
Dr. Devendra Pathak, Vice Chancellor of the University, in his address, appreciated Mr. Devansh for his splendid success. He further remarked that Law College Dehradun, has given 53 Judges within a short span making a magnificent achievement in its journey. He also appreciated the faculty members of the college for maintaining the higher standard and quality of education.
