Law College Dehradun organizes ‘Colors of Spring’ Farewell – 2019

Law College Dehradun organized its Farewell Party ‘Colors of Spring’ on 19th April, 2019 with great zeal. 4th year students of BBA.LL.B & B.A.LL.B. along with 2nd year students of LL.B bid adieu to their seniors of B.A.LL.B., BBA. LL.B., LL.B. and LL.M. Final Year students with great enthusiasm and nostalgia. Vice Chairperson Shrimati Anuradha Joshi presided as the Chief Guest of the occasion along with Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K.Joshi, Director – Students Affairs & I.T. Services Dr. Abhishek Joshi, , and Deans & Directors of the entire sister concerns.

The program was inaugurated by lighting the auspicious lamp followed by powerful ‘Bharat Natyam’ performance by Prithvi Raj and Prasansha Shah. Then began a series of magnificent performances. At the outset, Twinkle Toes comprising of Meghna, Spreeha, Simran, Rushali, and Renu gave a mesmerizing dance performance. Duet dance performance by Nitish and Keshav was vibrant and lit the spirit of the audience. Following this the outgoing students were invited on the stage for a Ramp Walk to show-case their talents and exhibit their awesome attires. Sincerely off beat, a Bollywood dance performance by Azmeen and group rocked the stage. Next treat was a song dedicated to the passing out batch by Shrishtee and Shantanu. Other performances including contemporary dance, swing squad and Bangra performances spell bound the audience.

Outgoing students who performed commendably well in academics were crowned with the title Mr. and Ms. Achiever. Ms. Sheva Khan, Ms. Aanchal, Ms. Vaishnavi Rawat, Ms.Tanyaa Manucha, Ms.Geetika Bhatia, Ms. Mantasha Rafiq, Ms. Aanchal Yadav, Ms. Mona Bhatt and Ms. Shweta Chaudhary were handed over trophies and certificates as recognition for their outstanding academic performance by the Vice Chairperson Ms. Anuradha Joshi.

Principal of the College Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna stated that 369 Law Students are now entering into the professional career this year, while 15 students have completed their post-graduation. “A majority of pass-out students are planning to prepare for judicial services while a significant percentage of these students are aiming for higher education while a few have already been placed with a handsome salary”.

In the end the floor was opened for the DJ Session and the entire day was a fiesta devoted to the outgoing members of the college to reminisce the joyous moments spent in the university campus.
