The Central Library conducted a Training Program entitled “Improvising and Redesigning Search” on 10th July, 2019 for the faculty members of the University. Mr. L.S. Naruka was the Resource Person from EBSCO, New Delhi. The training featured a demonstration of search techniques and tools to access the e-resource remotely through Google Account Authentication. He also demonstrated webpage creation on EBSCO host. Dr. N.C. Uniyal addressed the audience and apprised them about the anti-plagiarism policy of UGC. He also expounded anti-plagiarism software Turnitin and remote access facility. He requested the faculty members to increase the use of subscribed e-resources through student. A teacher is the only key person who can motivate the students to take references from the authenticated resources for their quality project, dissertation and theses. The session concluded with Vote of Thanks towards the faculty members, administration and IT staff for active participation, thus, making the event successful.
