Corona may have limited one’s movement but cannot limit the passion of learning , Department of Hotel Management conducted their first Live Cooking Session and F&B Service Session with the help of Uttaranchal University’s own ERP platform wherein Chef Hitendra Singh Chauhan and Mr. Shashi Kant , Assistant Professor came live from kitchen and restaurant respectively.
Chef Hitendra delivered a presentation about dishes from Kashmiri cuisine and cooked authentic “Mutton Rogan Josh”.
He said that, conducting virtual classes and live cooking helps students in understanding foods more in detail.
Mr. Shashi Kant demonstrated “How to open cork from a wine bottle”. In his session Mr. Kant informed students about the making of corks, types, reading wine bottle label, parts of wine bottle and parts of wine opener.
At the end Mr. Kant asked the students to practice opening cork with mock products.
