‘Quiz Hunt’ By Uttaranchal Society Of Electrical Engineers

A competition Quiz Hunt was organized for the students by Uttaranchal Society of Electrical Engineers. The competition started with the address of Hon’ble Chancellor Mr. Jitendra Joshi, Director of SA & IT Dr. Abhishek Joshi and officiating Vice Chancellor & Dean of Engineering Dr. N. K. Joshi. The Guests were welcomed by HOD of Electrical Engineering Mr. Amit Kumar Sharma.

The competition had three rounds; Questionnaire, Visual and Extempore. 24 teams took part in the event and each team had three members. In the first round four groups comprising of six teams participated. Two teams from each group moved to the next round after qualifying Questionnaire round. Ten technical questions of engineering were asked to individual groups and top two teams entered the next round from each group.

Eight teams entered in Visual round.  They were further divided into two groups of four teams. A visual question was displayed on the screen based on engineering. Each team has to answer that question within the stipulated time. Securing highest marks from each group, two teams moved to final round.  Final round was an extempore round. One member of the respective team had a chance to select the card & any member of their team spoke on the topic written on the card for at least 2 minutes. They were evaluated on various parameters.

Combined score of round 1, 2 & 3 decided the winner & runners up of ‘Quiz Hunt’.

Daisy Rose Rabha, Vipul Maisshe & Neetesh Yadav of B.Tech CSE 1st year won this quiz hunt. Nitessh Kumar, Prateek Ashwal & Ravinder Singh Rana of B.Tech CSE 1st year were runner up. They were awarded with cash prize & certificates by Hon’ble Chancellor.
