“World Food Day – 2017” was celebrated in School of Agriculture through a series of activities organized by the Agriculture Club on 16th October, 2017. The theme of ‘World Food Day’ for the year 2017, as released by FAO, was “Change the future of Migration, Invest in Food Security and Rural Development”.

The main objective of the celebration was to create an awareness of World Food Day and its theme. To achieve the same, the faculty members and students presented their views on the day, its significance, objectives and theme. As pictures speak louder than words, many students expressed their views through posters, which were beautifully displayed during the function.

Prof.(Dr.) B. Lonia, Director-Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, faculty members and students of School of Agriculture attended the event.
