‘Literary Club’, under the aegis of the Department of Humanities organized a Nukkad Natak on ‘Unity of Minds and Unity of Action to fight against corruption and detrimental mindset’. This Nukkad Natak was performed by the students of UIT on 31st October, 2018 in celebration of ‘National Unity Day’ and in observance of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ (29th October – 3rd November). The main objective was to motivate the audience to unanimously unify in thought, purpose & action and fight against corruption and detrimental mindset.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi initiated the realization of the effort by his best wishes and blessings. All the Heads of the Departments of UIT along with Faculty Members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
The student participants strongly highlighted and exposed the hypocrisy arising out of detrimental mindset and corruption. They claimed that the source of the above lies, in the first stage, within us. They emphasized that the only possible solution was through Unity of Minds and Unity of Action in the crusade against corruption and negative thinking. All the dignitaries and audience were awe struck by the strong script and applauded the realistic impact of the acting skills of the students.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Shriya Goyal, Head – Department of Humanities.
